anybody have tips on how to recreate this look?
I’m looking at buying parts to create a cylindrical metal frame, and then glueing on damask fabric. Just wondering if anybody has personal tips on how to make lamps themselves. I am totally lost!

We are doing lamphade centerpieces as well. Our’s will be a little different than what you posted, although I have seen that pic and love it! We ordered regular shades from ebay 5 for $2. We are going to paint them and add some decorative stuff…ribbon/jewels or something like that. We are using damask runners on the table. Anyway, I really wanted to comment to tell you that you may want to post this in the boards section. You will probably get more feedback on there.

I’m doing lamps too…. I googled a demo yesterday she bought a cheapy shade in the right shape in white and covered it with a lightweight damask cotton…
cut out fabric
sprayed adhesive glue on lampshade (outdoors)
then sprayed glue on fabric
then covered the lampshade with the fabric..
glue on trim and your done!
