I got his wedding band and had it engraved. I must say I had a hard time finding a ring for him. That was a bit suprising to me. I thought it was going to be easy breasy but boy I was wrong. He has big hands and well, a 8mm ring looked kinda girly on him so I was on the hunt for a 10mm tungsten band. After several jewelry stores I finaly went to the one he bought my engagement ring from and they had one there. Simple, tungsten and 10mm just like he wanted. I went ahead and bought it, showed it to him and had him try it on. It was a bit snug so I took it back to the jewelers and got a bigger size. When the right size arrived he tried it on again and he loved his ring. A few days later i went to many jewelers again to ask if they will engrave it and most jewelers said they couldnt because its tungsten. I finally went to Zales and they were great there. They did the engraving for me and didnt charge as much as i thought they were going to. Anyway, when i was asked by the lady who was helping me what it was I wanted engraved I replied “FOR BETTER OR RETARDED” She looked at me with the most confused look and asked again. I was laughing and told her “FOR BETTER OR RETARDED”. She had to ask why I wanted that engraved and i told her a story of how that happened. I dont remember excatly what we were talking about but it did have to do with the wedding and deciding if we should write our own vows. I said something to him and he replied with the most retarded answer but he was dead serious and for some reason was in a trance with a song on the radio from michael jackson, You are not alone lmao! So thats where I told him “geez is it for better or for worse or for better or retarded! we both just busted out laughing uncontrolably and since that day we tell each other that its FOR BETTER OR RETARDED. I freakin love this man! Anyway, here is my handsome soon to be husband and a picture of his wedding band.
