It's beautiful! I'm impressed. I'd love to do something like that for my bouquet. What flowers do you use? Are they all roses? I'm not good with identifying flowers. :-)
-ivory roses
-white ranunculus
-white fresia
-Ornithogalum (Star of Bethlehem)...its the spiky green flower
-green hypericum
-salal leaves (the foliage at the base).
I ordered all my flowers online from 2G Roses and The Flower Exchange and had a wonderful experience!
I had an amazing experience! I didn't have a budget exactly for my bouquet...just an overall budget. This bouquet probably cost about $30-35. I made six 6 bouquets, 2 alter arrangements, 6 corsages, and and 10 boutonnieres for about $265... plus about $25 for all of the supplies to put them together. I could have done it for less money...but I wanted certain flowers that cost more. I also ended up buying too many stems...I probably had about $40 worth of flowers left after building everything...so really the cost could have been even cheaper!
Hope this helps! Make your flowers! It's a challenge but so rewarding and a special touch you will treasure forever.
what was your process for putting all this together Im very interested in DIYing my flowers or at least a portion of them but I am unsure of the logistics to order, put together, etc andnot have wilted flowers on my wedding day
My homemade bouquet from my April 2009 wedding. My wedding colors were ivory, latte, and light green.

posted by knm011610 2 years agoI am doing the same exact colors for my November 2009 wedding! That is too funny. I haven't been able to find someone with the same color scheme.
This bouquet is SO beautiful!
