I love it!  Simple, but very elegant.  I’ve seen that paper at Michaels and wondered if there’s anything I could DIY to use it, but never thought of this! 🙂

i am very hesitant about the water beads.  I have had bad expirences with them.  I would do another mockup with maybe water and some gemstones or crystals because the last thing that you need is to do your centerpieces the night before and have them wilted or dead. I think the beads absorb to much of the water leaving not enough for the flowers.  good luck and happy planning! hope this helps

I think that going silk is a great decsion! I think that those hydrangeas look great and i think that no one will notice that they are fake!

I would love to see the print on the actual vase using mod podge (or something else that would adhere to the vase). 

That way the votives once lit will illuminate the swirls on the vase.  Gorgeous!

Thanks for the beautiful idea.  We are going with colored LED light in the bottom of the base rather than tealights.  This was wonderful!
