To be honest I actually prefer the first one! I love the lace/ tulle effect at the bottom rather than the satiny finish of the second. I think it looks lovely on you as well so you shouldn’t feel insecure! And as you say, you could always add sparkle. You could even get the sparkle from jewellery/ shoes/ headpiece/ veil!

I sell wedding dresses now (my favourite new job!) and you would be suprised at how easy it is to “add sparkle/accessories” and completely change the look of a dress!!

My tips would be:

– Buy a sparkley belt for the waist (which is kind of what you were thinking already)
– Buy a spakley flower or brooch of some kind to pin on the strap where it meets the gown (either on the back or front or both)
– Buy a crinoline for underneith the dress (or even a bigger one if you already have one under there). It will add some “oomph” to the bottom and would definitely compliment this style!!

Good luck and I would love to see updated photos if you try these things!!!

By the way, I think you look absolutely beautiful in this dress and that it compliments your figure so well!! I tried on a gown similar and unfortunately it just didn’t work for me so WORK IT Laughing

The Crinoline has a bad wrap for people thinking it makes the dress harder to walk in, but if you get the right one, it will actually make it better!

It will help so that no tulle touches your legs at all and therefore won’t be inbetween your legs and feet all night!!

Not to mention it helps get some airflow going on!! Wink

I have never commented on anyones posts before but just had to tell you. I think the dress actually looks better on you than on the model. As the other posts have said, remember bling can come from jewellery and even added to your bouquet. Good luck with your appointment, and i hope you can look at the dress and see how beautiful it looks on you Smile

Your dress looks really good on you. If you wish to add some bling, the belt will work great and will accenture you slim waist. also you can add some sequin or swarowski crystals to the flowers on the skirt, this should do the trick. ๐Ÿ™‚ good luck sweetie. dont switch the dress.
