Beautiful!!  Did you use regular water or distilled water?? I read somewhere about little bubbles and that if you used distilled water it would prevent this.  I really do not know if I want to pay for distilled water.  Tap water is free!!

Just curious??

GORGEOUS!  My sister in laws and I did something similar to this but did not have the candle plate.  I wish we had!  The candles burned but then eventually sank a little, causing most of the candles to be flameless after 1.5 hours. 😛

What size are the vases?

Love this idea! We’re using 3-4 different size vases with submerged dedrobium orchids and floating candles on 1/2 of the tables. It’s an easy, affordable and creative DIY centerpiece!!

These are lovely!  I’m curious how you are attaching the ribbon to the outisde of the vase?  I am doing something similar and I’m not sure if I should use hot glue, glue dots, spray adhesive, etc?
