I think these look great! I love the splash of color inside the base. I’m doing something similar for my centerpieces. May I ask what you used inside to add the color? Great job!
I used water-storing beads. You can get them at Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Walmart. Really great and inexpensive way to decorate!
Hi! Very Cute!
Did you make the lampshades or did you buy them? If made them… how? If bought… where?
Very unique 🙂
Wow those look amazing!! Do the beads come in different colors or did you color them?
these are amazing! I want to do something just like this! Where did you find your vases and the lampshades?
Hi, your centerpiece is great. Where did you get vases from?
Those are lovely! You did an excellent job with those!
Thanks ladies!! I actually made the lampshades. I purchased a plain tan shade from ebay for a great price. I then used inexpensive fabric, cut out a pattern and glued it to the shade using tacky glue and a small paint brush. I bought the top trim from Hancock Fabric on clearance for something like $0.30 per yard and got the bottom trim from Hobby Lobby. I used my hot glue gun to glue on the trim.
I actually used my caterer’s vases.
The beads inside the vase come in many different colors.
What size shades did you use. Just love it.
That is awesome!
love this!! did you use multiple colored water beads? how did they get that glow to them? how many cups of beads did you have to use? i know they expand in water but i am wondering how muchyou’d have to buy . i am having a big wedding so i need a centerpiece for about 30 tables and am on a budget
VERY UNIQUE~ love the idea! Thanks for sharing!!!
How did you get the lampshade to stay ontop of the vase?
