This is so pretty! I would love to know how you put this together…because of our budget we can’t use all real flowers for centerpieces but this would be a fantastic replacement!

I love this! I’m now thinking of using this for my own centerpieces. Do you have any pics of the final arrangement with candles?

Did you have any other ideas on how to use this as part of a centerpiece?

I’m definetly going to try this! I like how it came out in your pictures, it looks fun and very cost effective considering I’m going to have about 20 centerpieces

I am doing the tissue paper flowers too I am also going in with a water color brush and tipping some of the edges with color here and there to give it sort of a striated peony or carnation look. I am still practicing but I think these are going to be my centerpiece flowers.

@SandyThePoet – love the “tipped” carnations

I’m doing this as well, and I have found that when you cut the ends into a round instead of a point it looks more carnation-y. Personal preference.

I also found that when I did them in color (my first attempt was purple tissue paper) it looked like a sad craft project. When I did them in white tiisue paper they looked SO much better and less “crafty”. Not sure why that is.

I have the same colors for my wedding and I am also doing the tissue paper pompoms but I am making them huge to put on the ceiling. I know that it just took alot of patiance to complete these for myself. But your is looking great!
