Congratulations on your wedding! You looked beautiful. I was looking online and came accross your venue. I am getting married at this location in November and Im so excited. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for a future wife? Things you would do different, things you wish you would have done? I feel overwhelmed and not exactly sure what I should be looking for. I appreciate any suggestions and congratulations again happy marriage.
jgonzalez3083: Congratulations! I can’t help you with the marriage part because I am the sister of the bride. But I can offer some advice because I helped plan the wedding and did all the DIY stuff. One important piece of advice is have a conversation with your photographer before the wedding. My sister did not and as result she did not get some pictures that she would have wanted. The Internet is your friend I got all my ideas from pictures that I saw online. DIYing is awesome but make sure that you try things out. I did the bouquets but I made sure that I did a trial run and then my sister liked it. If you are going to DIY do not do more than you can handle. Keep to budget to be realistic about it. You might have some unexpected expenses. Coupons are awesome we used a lot of them. We also went to the dollar store for vases and stuff like that. On the day of don’t sweat the small stuff. We had boutonnieres that my mom left at home and didn’t make it to the wedding but no one noticed but us, that could have been a meltdown for another bride. Be tough on the rsvps, people will hand these in late even if you put a stamp on them(frustrating). You’re already ahead of the game because Longan’ Place was beautiful and the staff was very attentive. Most importantly have fun and take in the day it goes quickly.
