I've just placed an order for macarons as our wedding favours. We're having three per box and I'm using these images as my inspiration.
We chose strawberry, pistachio and coffee as the three flavours as I like those colours together (muted, pastel and very pretty!). Our wedding colours are blush pink, ivory and gray so we didn't want bright coloured macarons.
I also just ordered these personalised labels and we'll stick them on the front of each box.
I'm also debating whether to have flowers on top of each box or to have small flags with each guest's name on each box instead to act as a place card. This is probably a better option as it kills two birds with one stone.
P.S. Just quietly, I may have ordered more macarons than I really needed just so I'd have tons of leftovers to eat the next day, hehe
oh wow thats awesome thats a really good deal. you definitley gave me some inspiration after a lot of back and forth here's what I decided on doing now for my vintage october wedding.
Candykiss, I'm having a destination wedding and I've ordered mine from the bakery that's doing my wedding cake, so I'm no help for you there, unfortunately!
Macarons are so popular these days, so I'm sure you will be able to find bakeries to order them locally. Otherwise, I have seen etsy sellers doing macaron favours (pre-packaged in cute boxes or loose) but these may be a little more expensive than finding a local vendor.
The good thing about macarons is that unlike cupcakes, they can be stored for a little while without going stale, so if you need to have them shipped to you, they'll still taste fresh.

posted by Mrs. Pumpkin Pie 1 year agoThank you :) I'm obsessed with macarons so I'm really excited about these favours!
It will work about being about $350 once I'm done with the whole project, which I think is pretty cheap! It works out being only $3.50 per guest.

posted by Mrs. Pumpkin Pie 1 year agoThey are everywhere online! I ordered mine from papermart.com
If you want cubes, they are much easier to find. Rectangular ones are a little harder, but papermart has them for a great price (about $10 for 50!).
posted by Vera Girl 1 year agoJust wondering where you were able to order the macarons from? Is it something they ship? Would love to have some for our candy buffet!
