So it’s a little late to post, but these are my diy save the dates!!
We knew we wanted to have magnets. Because often people lose the save the date or it falls off the fridge so magnets worked great. But they cost so much and print at home hnots one not so good reviews. So I got looking and through wedding bee found vistaprint! But the business card size was too small and the large magnets too large. So, I decided to print two on one large magnet and cut it in half!
So here is our result:
The magnet is just under 3 inches by 4.5. Once cut in half. We found this large enough to take space but small enough to not intrude. And the back ground paper which was just for mailing is just under 4.5 by 5.5. We just cut a letter size paper in quarters (Found this in a pack at ac moore for $4 for 40 sheets but its also at jo annes). Then we mailed in social envelopes (from walmart) which were a bit big (4.5 by 6.5) but cost less then the smaller options and most people throw that part away anyways.
Two last tips: look for free fonts online that’s where I got this typewriter one and look for vistaprint coupons and sales. I got my magnets half off!!
Hope you enjoy!!
