Light in what way? Yes, your face is lighter than the rest of your body.  Look at your arms compared to your face. Swipe your foundation across your jaw line/cheek.  Leave it for a minute and it will oxidize to the color it will be. If you can see it, it isn’t the right shade. I recommend Bobbi Brown foundation.  A lot of times peoples faces are actually lighter than the rest of their body from wearing more sunscreen on their face than their body.  Bronzer can help even you out and help pictures look better if applied properly.  If you would really like to look more even try a self tanner.  I recommend Clarins.  Eye makeup looks good. Not sure what you are wearing on your lips but you may want to consider a lip stain and no gloss during the ceremony.  Grooms don’t usually welcome sticky sparkly lips.  Plus you risk it rubbing off on your hubby and possibly showing in your pictures.  Congratulations on your engagement!

Looking at your photo, I would have done more facial contouring and bronzer and used a little more color overall, especially on your lips and I would have also extended the color on your eyes to make them pop!  I would adjust your brows so that they are more complimentary to your facial features and bone structure.
