I'll be doing 5 of these centerpieces. I have two other types of centerpieces that will go on the other tables. Please ignore the fake flowers - these are just for visualization, the actual flowers will be a mix of hydrangea, greens, and baby's breath with some white stock flowers throughout the branches. Honest opinions encouraged, the last thing I want is ugly centerpieces because no one said anything! Lol.
This is very similar to what i want to do. I think it looks great! love the combination of the candles and crystals. may I ask how much the branches were? and how many you ordered?
Thank you! I'm just hoping it doesn't look cheap.... I used 2 branches in each centerpiece. I ordered in bulk from Blooms and Branches. 12 branches total and I make 6 trees, one for the wishing tree which I put in a taller urn so it stood out.
Thanks so much. they do NOT look cheap at all. They look beautiful!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like them and appreciate the compliment. Not gonna lie, I get nervous on this DIY stuff - I am confident in my ideas and what I want to do, but am not crafty/creative at all so I hesitate on the execution. I am thankful for the feedback!
it Looks great!! very elegant, im doing a manzanita tree for our cocktail hour as a centerpiece for our escort votive candles..i have fake flowers on it now i dont know if i should put real ones. As a guest would you think its cheap to have fake flowers on it??
i also want to attach crystal garlands like yours but i wasnt sure if doing short strands like yours would look nice. i was thinking of doing long ones that drape over the whole tree but my wedding is next week and i dont have time to order these BUT i LOVE how yours looks so im heading to the store to purchase the short strands!! thanks for sharing
Aw, thanks! Well if you want an idea of how the long strands look, here's what I'm doing for our wishing tree with long strands! (Creepy fast response time on my part, I know! I just happened to be on - it's coming down to crunch time! Lol.)
Oh, and as for fake flowers..... I'll admit I'm not a big fan of them at a wedding. However, as a guest I certainly wouldn't look at someone's escort table and think "how cheap, she has fake flowers." However, maybe talk to your florist and ask about some budget ideas? I have found (depending on your wedding colors) that there's plenty of options - stock flowers are inexpensive but pretty. I'm doing baby's breath as a focal point in mine because I love the lacy look, and the price is certainly a bonus! And mixing in greens tends to bring down the cost!
So pretty! Love the white flowers and wishing tree tags
you did a great job! these are really pretty. do you mind me asking what size branches those are? thank you!
Thank you so much! We used 24 - 36" branches. There are 2 per tree.
