I think as long as you have your wedding party do some first and people SEE them in the larger bottle there won’t be an issue. Maybe make a cute and simple directions card..label it “Guest Book in a Bottle” so people know they need to complete it? Or have your personal attendant/mom/aunt..someone man the table and tell people how.

Guest Book in a Bottle

“Write us a message for marital bliss, In the bottle it goes, be sure not to miss!”

..something of that effect haha Good luck, it’s a SUPER cute idea!

I think this is an amazing idea! I was thinking maybe you could pre-tie the ribbon on the paper roll where it just slides on and off. That will save time from guests having to tie it themselves. Also, you can set the bottles out at each table setting like the favors are usually done with a little note telling each guest what to do. That way, they can write their note and seal the bottle during cocktail hour or dinner. You can have a central location for guests to leave the bottles or have someone designated to pick each bottle up, or just leave them on the tables. Hope this helps!

Orrrrrr, you could opt to get a large bottle to put the finished paper rolls in…. This way, your mini bottles can be personalized with a monogram sticker, etc… and let the guests keep the mini bottles as a favor!

I love this idea and thinking of doing it myself. Where did you get your bottles?
