The style of my wedding is going to be very glamorous, Art Deco and mirrors! I can’t want for it to all to come together.
I found inspiration for my vases here but I forget who exactly doing a better job now keeping track of that stuff. Anyways their tutorial said to tape the 4 vases on the side and put them around another smaller solid vase. I tired this and it worked but it was very flimsy if you went to move it and I was worried how someone who wasn’t anal like me would do getting them in place.
So I enlisted the skills of my dad and had him build wooden blocks for the base and glued the 4 mirrors to these boxes so it would give them for stability. I couldn’t be happier with them! And now they are much easier to set up and move around.
We have made 15 so far and are experimenting with other mirror ideas.
Below are some pictures of the mock up with flowers I bought from the grocery store and hydrangeas from my mom’s yard. We are thinking we will order white hydrangeas and just put them in ourselves. Thoughts???

I think it would look awesome with white hydrangeas. Are you going to put candles around them? I imagine that some little votives would reflect off of those mirrors and look AMAZING!

I love this idea of mirror centerpieces! Very glamorous. How far in advance did you make your centerpieces?

how did you size the mirrors to match the wooden boxes that your dad built ?

I think I am going to go with all white calla lilys and candles around the vaces. Hopefully they will be big ebough to fill the space on the table. When we went for our tasting there was so many plates and glasses that I think it will be fine. I am a little worried.
I started buying the mirrors as soon as I knew this was what I wanted. Took me two months to track them all down. It took my dad a few hours on the weekend to cut and spay paint all the wood. I would start on them as soon as possible becuase the thing that took time was the glueing and clamping. He only had one clamp big enough so he could only do one size at a time and it had try dry for 12 or 24 hours. So the whole glueing process took several weeks.
Hope this helps!
