To go with our rustic/country wedding theme, I made moss covered letters to tie on the backs of my chair and my now husband’s chair. I am not a huge fan of weddings that are monogrammed to death with the initials of the bride and groom, but I thought that this would be a nice touch to add a little something extra to our wedding.
All it took was some craft glue, reindeer moss, light dove grey ribbon, green paint, and chip board letters, all purchased from Michaels.
I first painted the chipboard letters green, so that if any moss did fall off, it wouldn’t be so noticeable. I then tied the ribbons tightly on the top of the letters. Then came the really messy part, gluing the reindeer moss to the chipboard. I covered one side at a time and stored them in a shirt box until the wedding. They were totally unnecessary, but also were the perfect personal touch to our wedding.
