I’m so happy you posted this. It has literally made my day. I dream of a mantilla type veil as I love the look, but hate the price tag. I was wondering if I could DIY this and it’s nice to know that someone has and succeeded. Thank you so much for this post!

How did you measure how much material you wanted? Also, did you just use the plain tulle you can buy at Joann that comes rolled like the fabric does? I was wondering if that is wide enough?

it looks great! do you sew on the lace trim first before sewing it o the comb?  is this a double layer?
