Most of my ideas for our Save the Dates were bits and pieces that I combined from other’s in the hive, so thank you everyone for the inspiration. The most obvious is, of course from Mrs. Waffles amazing STD’s. http://www.weddingbee.com/2010/12/10/save-the-date-tutorial/
I am not a graphic designer and did all the graphics in power point of all place. I am pretty excited about how they turned out.
The front, of the envie, I used the Martha wrap around label template and Martha’s hole puncher.
The back (I blurred out our address) The stamp is from paper source, and I embossed it.
What is seen when the envie is opened 🙂
I had to include my dog, buddy 🙂 After took this picture I rounded the corners.
I used my cricut to make the tag, and attatched are yellow circle stickers for people to put on the calendars.

I don’t have a template, but I used the same concept as the map tutorial: http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/04/06/making-your-own-map/ I just drew what I wanted, and then scanned it, and uploaded it into power point. From that point on the played around with the tools. It took awhile to get what I wanted, but I think the results were worth it.
Thanks for the compliments! 🙂
