So, here they are – my beach christmas ornaments. Bought some clear glass ornaments from Hobby lobby. Filled them up with sand, decorative glass, seashells and starfish. Added a blue ribbon. And personalized it with our names. Put them in the clear plastic boxes I bought from ebay.

What did you write on the glass with?

Paint marker. DecoColor by Uchida. It says on the package that it can only be removed by their own paint remover. i don’t know if you paint, for example, water glasses or wine glasses, that it won’t come out after several washes. I tried to remove it with my finger and it seems to be permanent. but, of course, nobody will wash christmas ornaments in the dishwasher. So it was an easy solution for me.

So awesome! I did a search for “Beach Wedding Christmas Ornaments” and found this! I am doing the same thing! I have made these for years for family (I grew up on the bay) so I’m glad to see someone else is doing this. I chose a Christmas ornament because most favors seem lame but (at least for me) this is something I think most of my family and friends will treasure – and they only have to look at it once a year! 🙂
PS – I registered just so I could say WTG! Oh and I lurk all the time – this board is SOOOO much friendlier than other “naught” sites. LOL Getting sick of the brizellas and etiquette hounds over there! This day is supposed to be FUN!

Thank you Sperbunki.
This is exactly how i came up to this as well. I also found most of the favors for beach wedding lame. This is something that I would keep if i got it as a favor. I think my guests will like it. besides, I think seashells, starfish, and sand are naturally pretty. So all that combined is an excellent favor!
