The top box is heart-shaped. I spent 54 cents on the box in a thrift store and covered it with red contact paper and polka dot ribbon.
The middle box is a hexagon-shaped box. I spent $1.08 on it at the Dollar Tree. I had planned to cover my middle tier in a black and white pattern, but I found this box that already had the pattern on it, so I didn’t even have to cover it. I added a beaded fringe ribbon around the box poking out from under the lid
The bottom tier is a big oval box. It’s covered in a black fabric that I bought as a remnant at JoAnn fabric, with red ribbon around the lid’s edge. I spent $2.16 on the box and 10 cents for the red ribbon. The fake rose is one I’ve had for years; I just repurposed it. The quote is a wall decal that I bought on eBay. I wasn’t sure it would even stick to the fabric, but it did. The quote is the overall theme of our wedding
I have a few more finishing touches I’ll do. I want to add the words “Love never fails” on the top of the heart-shaped box. Then I to put a black felt bottom on the bottom of the cardbox and maybe some sort of cool “feet” on the bottom to raise it up off the table
