- Wedding: October 2010
After looking hundreds of super expensive invites, I decided to attempt printing my own. I let my friend Kristin Cofer and San Francisco based Photographer and Graphic Designer if she could help. Check out her Blog http://www.hissandhearse.com
Our wedding is set in Miami Beach, FL I wanted it to have a Retro or Art Deco feel like the area. Kristin sent me the proof’s and I uploaded them to Overnight Prints and printed them there. All in all I saved big buck’s, especially considering I did two sets of Inivtes and RSVP’s one in Spanish and one in English.
To go along with the wholde destination wedding feel (even if it’s where I live) I made these neat Mailing Label Wraps. I think it gives a cute airmail feel. To make these I downloaded a free template from Martha Stewart’s Blog and cut the envelope liner pattern in photoshop to be 2″ x 7.5″. I then made the address boxes. I was able to fit 4 per page. I type the addresses and printed it one page at a time on on full sheet label paper and cut each one out.
So I know I’m not good with getting into all the details, but hopefully you feel inspired to make your own.
