I need 19 boutonniere’s for our wedding. I am trying to cut costs, and do smaller things myself. One thing I was interested in making was our boutonnieres. I made them using bamboo sticks, fabric, ribbon, twine, burlap and hot glue. Our colors are gray and coral/pinkish. I also got all different keys to hang off of them. Let me know what you think!

That is exactly what I want for mine. Our colors are blush, cream and gray. Can you tell me how you made this?
Thanks a bunch 🙂

Kylie8208: I mainly searched Pinterest for fabric flowers until I found one that I liked. So technically you can do any flower. I can’t find the exact tutorial for the one I used but I can kind of explain..
I cut 2 inch circles out of the chevron fabric. Six circle per bout. I left one flat with the printed side up. Then I folded the remaining circles into four quadrants. So in half, and then half again so it would create a petal so to speak. I didn’t flatten it but left it to expand a bit. Then I put a dab of hot glue at the center of the circle/fold. I repeated this 5 times. Then I glued the five petals to the flat circle. From there I covered the bamboo skewer with twine, and then glued the flower I made to the skewer.
Hopefully that helps, if you have questions I will try to help further!
