I am the definition of a DIY bride and mostly simply due to my bad case of sticker shock when it comes to anything involving weddings.
The flowers fascinators I saw in stores ran well over $40 and $60 dollars or more!!!:S Which is crazy!!
Here is what I came up with…
Here is how I got there…
A $1.00 flower clip from Ardene’s
Take off the back clip and felt, carefully
Take out the center. This is more difficult since they use a lot of glue. I used a small thin screw driver to help.
Take one very pretty $10.00 Shoe Clip from David’s Bridal and pull off the back clip
Glue to the Center of Flower
Reuse the clip you pulled off the back of the flower and cut a new piece of felt.
Glue the top of the clip to the back of the flower. Be sure not to glue too much, it still needs to open.
Open the Clip and glue the felt to the inside of the clip and to the back of the flower onboth sides of the clip.
And Tah Dah!! A Beautiful Bridal Flower for $11.00 and less than 30 minutes work!:)
