I used this idea and made something very similar. The glowing in the vases is an LED light from Michaels that can be submerged in liquid (very cool!) then I used the liquid flower beads instead of the glass rocks. In the top round vase, I put glass rocks (purple, clear and black), and floated a large dahlia just below the top of the round vase. Thanks for the idea! I'll try to post pics soon.
they are just vases with marbles in water and LED lights but the but used the ones with 3 lights in one they are more $ but make it brighter.
The vases I got at AC moore for about $2.50 each the marbles I got at Michaels when they went on sale from $2.69 a bag to $89 a lb. the LED lights I bought on Ebay they were like $30 for 12 the globes on top were $.79 each and of course tea lights but ones in a clear case not the tin just looks better.
oh yeah and the diamons with the little photos were little clock paperwights my grandmother tooks the clocks out and put out photos in... came out awesome, people loved them =)
