- Wedding: September 2013
Just wanted to share my DIY invites that I just sent off this past Friday!! I’m NOT a crafty person by nature, so it took a LOT of trial and error for me to get these done. I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this project and didn’t realize how much I was taking on since I had to do 112 invites! I bought a paper cutter just for this purpose and my hands are pretty tired. Our wedding colors are silver and 3 shades of purple (violet, fuchsia, lavender)…so I’m SO happy how these turned out! Please note some pics were taken with flash and some were not.
All my paper supplies and pocketfolds came from Cards & Pockets, except for the glittery silver backing for our logo – I got that from Michael’s. I made the logo myself in Word. 🙂
My custom address stamp for our RSVP envelope came from “Angel Ink” on Etsy. Angelique did a phenomenal job with our stamp!
My wraparound labels came from http://www.signaturesbysarah.com – Sarah was great to work with! She sent me the digital files in a Word Doc, and I filled in all the addresses and changed the font to my liking.
My custom invite design came from “RunkPockDesigns” on Etsy. Rozena really worked with me to get the exact style and design I wanted, and she was super fast and attentive! Once the designs were done she sent me the digital docs in a PDF file, and I had them all printed at Office Max.
**With regard to the RSVP cards…I prefilled the names myself. For parties of 4, I had 4 lines, 3 = 3 lines, 2 = 2 lines, etc. Didn’t want to risk it!!!
Hope you like these as much as I do!
