Wow there are great! How did you do it?
Thanks! Every time I see them it makes me want to get married sooner..
Honestly I got all my inspiration from other bees!
1) I sand papered the shoe
2) I painted the shoe with acrylic paint (royal blue)
3) I coated the shoe with mod podge
4) I mixed the royal blue glitter with mod podge & painted that on.. had to do several coats
5) I went over them once again with the mod podge to seal them!
Overall, it only took me about 6 hours, this was off and on as I had to wait for them to dry. It was a fun project and super cheap- I got those shoes on sale for $3 at walmart and bought the supplies with a $25 gift card! I highly recommend it! Especially if you have a specific shoe in mind like I did.
Oh, I also sand papered the glitter to ensure there was no clumps. This rubbed off the royal blue of some of the glitter. However, it still looks fantastic because there’s random silver flecks now which I love!
Love these 😀 Can you show a side view 😀
For sure! Here you are:
Is the paint cracking or chipping at all?
Nope, the paint has not chipped or cracked a bit. I think the Mod Podge prevented that from happening!
