Wow looks awesome…approx how much did you spend on candy? And how many guests did you have? Thanks
Hi – I went a little overboard. I spent about $350 on candy… I think it was close to 70 lbs. There were 110 guests at the wedding, only 7 of which were kids. But it was a total hit. I had almost nothing left over. I highly recommend having some sort of dessert bar!
Prettiest candy buffet I have seen yet. I love that you chose candy necklaces and candy dots… and the Gold Mine nugget gum! Did you buy all thes containers or rent them?
Thank you! Yes, I bought all of the jars. I scoured stores and flea markets for the perfect ones… and also went shopping in my mom’s kitchen! Creating this candy bar inspired me to start my own business. Let me know if you are in need of any services or signage. You can check out my etsy shop at http://www.sweettalkdesigns.com!
oh yum! I wish i had been at your wedding!!
I only had TWO kids at my wedding and had a candy buffet as well it was pretty much empty by the end of the night!!! 🙂
Your candy bar looks amazing!! How did you display the bags or containers that your guests took home with them? I’m trying to think of a cute way to do it…
I didn’t do anything exciting with the bags… just laid two piles out on either side of the table. You could get small baskets for them. That’s an idea!
Oh my gosh this is absolutely adorable!! I’m definitely planning a fabulous candy bar…do you think something like this is enough to use as a favor? Did you give out anything else to guests?
Wow- it looks beautiful! Glad it was a hit!
ilove that you used more retro candy, like the rock sticks and candy dots…i am trying to find whirly pops for a good price somewhere but they are sooo expensive and i really want them!
wow! that i fabulous!!!!! love it!
Aww that’s adorable! That’s a great idea, I think I’ll have to do that for the kids at my wedding. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
gorgeous! i hope my candy buffet looks half as good as yours!
Did you also have favors? Or did you use the candy as their favors?
I’m debating if I want to do that too!
