Oh what a blessing! I think you have my dress? I bought mine at one of those wedding boutiques who won't let you know the designer But you look amazing! Ruching is sweet!
My flower girl is wearing that same dress and coincidently my colors are a plum and mercury. The girls look adorable! Did you make their flower wands yourself and headbands? I love the concept. Would you mind sharing how you made the headbands or where they were purchased?
BTW.. You are a beautiful Bride!! Love your eye makeup. :)
My 3 flower girls are wearing this adorable dress too! Colors similar, purple and silver! So great to see them on real girls and looking superb! I also love the headbands! :)
Thanks ladies! I bought the headbands off etsy actually but I did make the flower wands. The girls loved them and still play with them actually. I knew they needed something more sturdy than real flowers. To make these I simply bought a silk hydrangea, used floral tape to attach it to a wooden dowel, and then wrapped ribbon around the dowel and glued it. I then tied ribbon at the base of the flower and added a sparkly butterfly for fun, which you can actually see on two of girls dress strap. lol. For the headbands I believe it was pink peppermints that I purchased the flowers from. For the two little girls I got the flower on a clip since they have such thin hair the headband wouldn't stay on. Keep that in mind with your little ones. I think it's so great that so many of you are using the same dresses and have similar colors!!
@Christine4RN - yes, rouching is amazing! lol. It's Brooklyn by Enzoani Blue with a train that looks like it will almost detach. Same one?
@msjro13 - thanks so much! I took a chance and went for dramatic eye makeup because I always wear black liner and I'm so happy I did! I felt totally glam!
Wow, absolutely gorgeous! those headbands really do make the outfits... I'm totally stealing this whole look for my nieces (and I'm not even engaged yet!). One question, you don't happen to have a picture of the back of one of the girls' updo? I like the idea of the hair being up (and out of the way) but I don't want it to look too grown-up.
Aren't they the sweetest? They were so well behaved all day and completely stole the show!
Awe Chrispy... they are adorable! Love their dresses!
