How did the train of the dress survive your ourdoor wedding? I just order the Marisa 815 dress and am worried the organza will look dirty just after walking down the aisle. It would be great to know what to expect, if it snags, picks up things easily.
ereed - congrats on your Marisa 815! It's a gorgeous dress. My ceremony was indeed outside but on pavement. However, when we did some after ceremony photos in the vines, the train (which I hadn't bustled yet) got a bit dirty on the underside although it really didn't show when I eventually bustled it up (which I forgot about until after our first dance LOL). We did a "day after" session early the next morning and that was when the dress hem got a bit dirtier and a little ripped after I got my shoe heel caught in it while climbing through fields and over rocks. I also dragged a few things (twigs, etc.) along with me....but all in all, it made it through just fine. Because of the raw edge cut of the dress, it would be very easy to fix my little rip if I wanted to sell it or pass it on to my daughter. And the dress was not altered height-wise - I am 5'6" and I wore 5" heels.
