My wedding is in the fall so I wanted to go with orange shoes. After looking at all of your inspiring diy shoes I decided to try it for myself. I’m not much of a crafty person, but I think they are turning out pretty good so far!!

Wow! I’ve also have been on the hunt for orange shoes? How many crystals did you use? What size(s) did you use? What color crystals did you use? Where did you purchase the materials?

thanks so much everyone!! the nice feedback makes the long hours of making these worth it!! The orange rhinestones that I used were 3mm and I got 10,000 of them on ebay from the ebay seller thecraftsoutlet-craftsoutlet and they were just called orange flatback rhinestones and they were only about 20.00 with s+h. They also have a website for those that don’t use ebay: http://www.the-crafts-outlet.com/servlet/Detail?category=Rhinestones&no=1536¶m_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.the-crafts-outlet.com%2Fservlet%2FCategories%3Fcategory%3DRhinestones%26s%3D101&searchpath=49377
I’m hoping that 10,000 is enough to do both shoes as I’m not done with the second shoe yet…it looks like I should have enough though. The clear crystals I got at our local Crafts Direct store they are a David Tuttera design. The glue I used was E-6000 which you can get at any craft store. I did spray paint the shoes orange as when I bought them they were a nude color.
