- Wedding: September 2010
First off I want to thank the fellow Wedding Bees who posted their DIY guides, in which Ii modified slightly to make my things using my wedding colors (Purple, Lavender and pink) for my upcoming September wedding.
Except I changed the actual pocket to a rectangle using the same measurements. Also I agree with using either permanent double sided tape, Martha Stewart permanent glue to glue the poket to the cardstock and the invites!
Here are the dimensions one folded the card is 5.5 x 5.5
The RSVP is 4×5.25 (printed on landscape fit 4 cards per sheet)
The Reception Card is 4.5×5.25 (fits 2 cards per sheet)
Directions 5.25×5.25 (fits 2 cards per sheet)
The invite is 5×5 and the lavender boarder is 5.25×5.25 (fits 2 cards per sheet)
This included the outer (6×6 white) and inner envelopes (A2), the ruby metallic cardstock, the lavender cardstock, and the white cardstock. I made 50 invites and will be making the menu cards with the left over materials as well as the program cards and place cards and thank you cards. Here is how the menus will look likehttp://diy.weddingbee.com/topic/simple-half-sheet-menus-with-cute-knife-fork-spoon-punch)
I have to admit it does take a lot of time and dedication and i spent 1-2 hours everyday after work doing something. I think the most tedious part is the cutting of the items.
Attached are the pics 😉
