- Wedding: May 2012
We are having a handmade/rustic/vintage outdoor wedding on May 26, 2012. I LOVE to craft so of course, I am making almost every aspect of our wedding!! I love DIY projects!
The long DIY list ranges from wood slice chalkboards, milk vases, stained glass candle holders, mason jar chandliers, burlap table runners, window seating chart, redneck wine glasses as favors, and the list goes on. It’s possible that I’ll sell some stuff after the wedding. 🙂
Here are some pics of the invitations. We decided to do a casual theme and all paper is recycled. We ordered from Paperandmore.com and they are AWESOME! We got the lace from Deb’s Lace online shop. The stamps are “garden of love”, “herbs”, and “bonsai” on the postcards.
I made everything in publisher and printed on my Epson printer at home. The total cost of my invites were around $200. Including all paper, ink cartridges, and postage.
I drew the map myself and used colored pencils. I scanned it into my computer and then printed. Everything was really easy to print except for the RSVP’s! The dimensions for the postcard are about 4×6 so they kept getting jammed in the printer. I knew I couldn’t get off THAT easy! 🙂
I printed the envelopes using free fonts I downloaded from dafont.com
I also printed the return label on the back of the envelope and crafted the graphic myself.
I used WeddingBee for SO much inspiration so I’m posting with hopes that maybe I can pay it forward and inspire someone else!
Happy wedding everyone! Have a great week!!
