This is definetly not an ordinary engagement ring, and I LOVE it for that! I´ve had it for about two months and still can´t stop looking at it.
It´s like a trend to have a non traditional e-ring, the same as a non traditional wedding, right?

I love this ring! What is the center stone. It is simple yet intricate. Wow.

Thanks! It is a tanzanite

I have a non-traditional ring too 🙂 Love the light purplish color of that tanzanite. Have you guys picked out bands yet, or are you going to have a band? Some women are also not getting wedding bands. I would have loved to add a band to my e-ring, but it just won’t look right. Plus, I don’t want to cover up the side due to the peek-a-boos he added.

I am getting a band, and also having a hard time finding one! If I had to choose between wearing just my e-ring or my wedding band, I will choose just the wedding band, because I´m just not used to wearing too much bling, that´s why my e-ring is so simple.
The other pictures of dozens of diamonds engagement rings and huge center stones look stunning, but honestly I could not wear something like that every day!

I love your ring. The stone and setting are both fantastic!

LOVE non-traditional e-rings!
The diamond industry likes to tell us that diamonds are “so rare.” Well, I don’t see how something can be rare when 90% of brides over the last 80 years have had one.
Rare is the bride that has the courage to buck “the norm” and go with a non-traditional ring. Awesome!
