I made my own name hangers. I spent $5 for hangers. and Maybe $10 on 14 Gauge wire from Micheals. I printed out each name that way I could kinda trace over it with the wire. I bought I a pair of wire cutters that had a rounded end. It was a lot of fun and a lot cheaper than paying $20 a peice for them. 🙂 Hope you like them!

Is it really that easy? I don’t know why I think it will be difficult.

I wanted these but spending at least $20/hanger was just too much for me!! After seeing yours I’m going to try it!!
Off to Michael’s tonight armed with 2 coupons for 50% off (1 for me & 1 for MrN, he is used to being given 1 item to purchase). I already needed to buy 22 gage wire for my brooch bouquet (I used 26 gage for my pearls/crystals) but that’s not strong enough for heavier brooches) so I’ll be buying 14 gage & 22 gage wire tonight then off to buy wood hangers.
I’m so excited.

To attach the wire, drill a hole in the hanger slightly bigger than the wire. Use a hot glue gun to half fill the hole, insert wire and hold for 20-30 seconds. Use a papper towel (NOT KLENEX- its too “fluffy”) to wipe away the excessive glue. Thats how Im doing mine. Hope this helps anyone asking. 🙂
