My crinoline is my something old…. i was previously married and i worked in a bridal salon, so i had access to alot of items. I kept the crinoline over the years, and when i got my new dress i was joyed that the old crinoline would work perfect!
However it didnt feel right for me to wear it the way it was…being white and my dress is a darker ivory, so i debated after seeing the awesome dyed ones the bee.
I decided to go dark and add a pop of color. We are doing maroons/wines/burgundys for our color scheme. I love the idea that I CAN show color when I want..and cover it when i dont!
I went the AC MOORE used 2 coupons and bought the liquid dye for roughly $3 each. Followed the instructions and did it in my washer.
ONE TIP! Make sure you have bleach handy, and run a regular load immeditaley after taking the crinoline out! This will clean the washer and there will be no issues with dye getting on other clothes
