- Wedding: August 2013
I love the fact that your wedding is later than mine (September 2013) and you are working on your invitations now. I am fiddling around making decisions about mine aswell and everyone is teasing me about doing it so far in advance. Your invitations are lovely and kudos to you for being ahead of the game. Here are just a few thoughts…
1. The M & J on the right hand pocket appear to be in a completely different font than everything else. I would stick to the same font the large V (and everything else?) is in.
2.What if, instead of the ribbon band on the front you did the same knotted bow that is inside?
3.I had a custom rubber stamp made (exact size, font, placement, etc.) from a company on etsy. I am sure they could do the same for you. If you want their info let me know and I will send it to you. The service was excellent, they made professional suggestions that made my ideas even better and the price was comparable to buying one off the shelf.
I’m curious as to what information you have on your card that is entitled “Thank you”. I’m trying to make sure I have everything included so I am scoping out everyone else’s to make sure I haven’t omitted something vital.
I love the heart boarder on the outside, I think you should keep it! 🙂 Great job!
Do you have a template for how you made this or any suggestions at all? This is very similar to what we were thinking about BUT I have no idea how to even start a DIY invitation.
They’re absolutely beautiful and I definitely love the heart boarder.
did you do your own envelopes?
@blueberrygirl: thank you so much for all the feedback. The thank you part is something that I personally decided to add, so i am sure you have not missed anything. It’s a Mexican thing.
@overjoyed060113: I do have a template, I also have the information I got off of other bees that helped me create everything. I can send them to you if you like.
@krispykreme: lol, is it that noticeable? I found the envelopes to be so expensive so i just made them liner and all. Sent one out to see if it survived the mailing process and it did just fine. The ilner is actually x-mas wrapping paper I found at Target in there after x-mas special, its velvety.
love it! What font is your monogram? I’m looking for that exact one!! I am also interested in the template if you’re up to sharing.
LOL I can guess what the Thank You is for…Is it your list of Padrinos? I had not thought about how to incorporate the tradition of Padrinos into an English Invitation. Good idea!
Hi fellow Bee’s,
I will be sending you the entire template as soon I get it all in order. I never really did all my work on one computer (dumb idea) so I am in a hunt to get it all together and ready for y’all. Must be done by the end of this week, before my spring break is over, then back to school I go. =)
@eeca: yes you got it. Hahaha. It has been a hard choice to make, but I would feel bad not putting their names in there, even if its just their names. Another option is the program or just simply announcing it. Thanks.
Hi ladies I emailed you the layout. Enjoy.
