- Wedding: June 2012
We started working on these invitations in May 2011 for our June 2012 wedding. It was definitely a labor of love but we are really pleased the way it came out.
Quartz cardstock and RSVP envelopes from Action Envelope
Green boxes are from Box and Wrap. I designed the monogram on Photoshop and had it made into a stamp. The white roses and lace are done with Nellie Snellen dies.
Green cardstock and two shades of pink (for the flowers) are both from Stampin Up.
Embossing folder and stamps are by Stampin Up.
My mom ordered the shipping boxes online (I don’t know the website).
We designed everything on MS Word and printed it ourselves on a Dell laser printer.
Pearl brads on flowers are from Michaels.
I wish I could say that this DIY project was a money saver but in actuality it would have been much less expensive to order invitations (they just wouldn’t have been so perfect!). These came out to above $20/each if you factor in shipping. I have a love of paper crafting so I’d rather save elsewhere. They say the invitation is everyone’s first impression of your wedding!
