- Wedding: June 2011
Okay, so this is what my fiance and I came up with. He had the idea to have our date the 25th be in yellow font, which put that final touch.
The flower is from here. http://www.weddingchicks.com/sweet-deals/5241/free-dahalia-wedding-invitation/. I started with the rsvp card by erasing the font and then adding our own. I found the font at http://www.dafont.com. It’s called peach sundress.
When I put the two together (the font and the big swirly flowers), it seemed like they didn’t mesh — like the flowers were too fancy for the simple, clean lines of the text. My fiance and I decided we liked the font better than the big swirly flowers, since the font represents the my casual feel of our wedding. So I played some more and ended up pulling one flower from the pattern. I showed that to my fiance and he suggested that we make the number 25 yellow over the blue heart. Fantastic!
I attached the .psd file if anyone would like to play with it for a project of their own. Figure I would share 🙂
