After crying for 2 hours after my 1st fitting, on and off throughout the rest of the engagement, and then even still having doubts up until the wedding day, I can honestly say that it turned out to be perfection. While I still think another dress would’ve fit my vision just as well, I’m truly happy with what I ended up with and I do enjoy showing it off. Here’s a picture of my dress and juliet style veil. I really do love showing them off. P.S. The dress was ordered custom and is totally unrecognizable from the original – can anyone guess waht it is?

You look beautiful! I love your dress. I ordered mine a few days ago, but have to get the neckline and back raised a bit.

you look oustanding so classic….ooo tell me please i love a good riddle what’s the original dress?

Thank you guys so so much! The original dress is Casablanca 2004! Except customized with a full a-line skirt, sleeves and higher neckline. The alterations lady herself is the one who perfected my sleeves and took the scalloping off the sleeves to blend into the neckline to make it higher (for religious purposes I needed sleeves and the high neckline). I was so down on not having a big ball gown at first but looking at these pictures now I realize, this dress wasn’t wearing me, I was totally wearing it! And I think that’a what made it magical.
