I was inspired by other brides on here and I thought, that has to be easy enough. So off I went to Michaels and bought the wire and constructed this in 5 min. I will transfer it to a wooden hanger to hang my wedding dress from.

I am doing this for all of my girls. I am using velvet hangers in my wedding colors. What gauge wire did you use and how much was it? Did you free hand it or did you use an outline like some of the online tutorials say?

Hi, I used aluminum floral wire, available at my Michaels, it is packaged as 5 yards and it cost me $3.99. I free handed it and I will be honest with you, it only took me about 5-7 minutes. The last part of my last name the “n” looks kinda sloppy, but this was my trial run. I thought it was going to be MUCH more difficult than it was. I used needle nose pliers from around the house. I’m not sure if the aluminum makes it easier to handle than other wire? I wasn’t planning on doing this for my girls, but after doing it, I decided I’m going to. It was super simple.

I am so going to do this! They sell on Etsy for $25 and up and I’m sure I can do it myself. My new last name is going to be a long one so I just want one that says Bride. Thank you for sharing how you did it!

I wish I would have known this was so simple. I looked on etsy and got discouraged. I’m planning a friends wedding though so this is on the list.
