I made a card box last night, but I can’t decide if it needs a lil somethin’ more? like perhaps rhinestones? Or is it fine and I should just leave it alone? What do you think??
(side note: the white marks on the top rim of the box are just a glare. It is completely black all over with just the white and pink ribbon.)

I really like it! My wedding colors are the same as yours 🙂 I was actually going to make one like yours with a hat box, but I found a huge satin covered treasure card box (wuth tassel) on craigslist for $10, and I’m going to decorate it with a silk lily and some satin ribbon.
If you are looking for a finishing touch, maybe glue some rhinestones, crystals, pearls, or a bead color of your choice to the top edge of the box. Good luck! 🙂

Instead of a bow you could fasten the ribbon to the box and then on top of the seam print a nice monogram on some cardstock. You could also print a small card (reply card size) that indicates it is a card box with some pink and black swirls or something to tie in your colors/theme.

really cute! How did you make it??
I agree with adding a “cards” sign, but maybe you could also add a rhinestone brooch to the center of the bow!!
