So my wedding colors are black white and fuschia accents...and i want pink closed toe low shoes. hard to find. when i saw these nina shoes i had to order them to see if they match the fuschia of my bm dresses and flowers. the picture online is deceiving because they look hot pink but once i received them today 04/18/12 they are more magenta-ish, purple-ish..well now my question is will they look bad if i wore them even though my colors are fuschia/hot pink.
If the only time they will be seen is when you choose, photo ops, garter search etc, then you shouldn't have a problem. It's mostly about your surroundings. If you are in a room where the fuschia/hot pink then the shoes will stand out more as not being a match. In the photo you uploaded, the color looks fuschia on my monitor.
I wouldn't really worry about it too much. I'm trying to match Tiffany Blue which is really hard too. So I decided that if the bridal party clothing matched, then the reception hues for the tables, decor, etc could be a variance of the color and does blend in well with eachother. Even if some are lighter or darker.
i think i will wear them..my mom says no because shes old school and wants me to wear white shoes but my personality is a little more daring than my moms. I just hope its not big of a color difference...thanks for your help futuremrscarpenter!!
I think your shoes are cute. You should wear them inspite of the color diff. It will not look bad because the colors are in the same family. My colors are the same and Im wearing hot pink shoes. Ps.. I agree with the above comment from the other Bee.
