Hi fellow Bees. So, I need some help. I created our wedding invitations and I think I like them, but I’m not 100% sure. FH says he loves them – but then again he might just be trying to shut me up :). Co workers weren’t as excited. So, I’m stuck… I got inspiration from around the hive, but would love your opinion! Wedding colors are purple and orange with a hint of green. Thank you!!

The layout and design are really nice but my personal opinion on font is that the “o” in “do” looks like an “r”. I’m guessing by the design that you are going for a very modern feel?

I agree with the “o” looking like an “r” but only after it was brought to my attention. I LOVE the side, esp where you snuck the rings in. I would alter the hugh of the orange though. Its too burnt looking for spring colors, you dont have to go really pastel or anything, but at least a little lighter. Otherwise they really do look great!

Well, I wanted something that wasn’t traditional and had our colors. I’m not a girly girl, but I wanted an element that could filter through through all elements of the wedding. So modern is a good term, but a classic modern. But I’m really not sure it gives the right feel. So, maybe lightening up the orange will help. I might remove the border entirely… I will continue to tweak. Thank you so much for the feedback!

I think a border is good – but maybe just a thin orange line? Or a think green line and change the few circles to orange?
I really like them. Good luck.

I like it, this is very similar to the ones I’m designing. I think you might want to change the fonts. I think something with a bit more of a modern feel might be better for the majority of the text. Maybe something like
I love the little rings you added though, how did you do that? Did you create that on your own, or did you find that somewhere?

I created these in InDesign. Thank you for the font suggestion!
