I dont think it’s simple at all…I actually LOVE this design…and Id want the template, but only if you’d like to share, and how you made it too lol …Im in love with the word love that you have at the top of the invite! SO CUTE! 🙂
Sure I can do that It’ll take me a little while to get it ready, Maybe a few days – But I can also give you the instructions and a list of where you can get the Stuff. Its super easy and fast.
<3! If I were you I wouldn’t change a thing!!! Good job!
I would try to make the background (the damask print) more transparent because it’s hard to read right now. Also, varying the font from something more cursive to a serif/sans serif font might look nice and give it a stronger contrast for reading.
I was gonna ask if therer was a way to do a diff color paper? My colors are purple black and white..it woudl be cool to have that background in purple instead of blue 🙂
Im sure you could, It would just take a liitle effort to find the paper you want, I honestly have scrap book paper laying around, Thats what I used: It’s not anything I printed – I just have tons of paper, I kinda picked one and cut it in to the size I wanted – based on the envolopes I want to use. Then played with the deminsions in word and started typing, printed it on my pre cut paper and used a tag i had lying around as a template for the Piece of paper I used the Love stamp on punched a hole and tied on the ribbon- Honestly nothing fancy! Its double sided cardstock so theres a different print on the back: One Of my main concerns with DIY invites is not wasting ink so pre designed paper is going to be a great route for me.
The paper is very pretty and I really like the tag. I do find it difficult to read especially since the pattern on the paper also has some script on it. If you’re sold on using that paper I would print the invitation on a translucent paper like vellum and layer it over the scrapbook paper with some ribbon like you did with your tag.
I agree with Mrs. Blocks- I think it’s great, but hard to read. Vellum paper would be very cool to see and add an extra dash of classy!
