I have tried googling this but I cant find any information! I want to use candle lanterns for table decorations bit they are a little expensive. My great grandfather has quite a few kerosene lanterns, if there anyway to place a candle within the kerosene lantern or because of the gas fumes, it would be a fire hazard. I have been afraid to do a run through, my grandfather passed a few years back and I dont want to ruin his lanterns!
Any ideas? Ive seen the mason jars, candles, etc but I really want lanterns 🙂

Ikea has fairly cheap candle lanterns there, they are priced from $4.99 to $16.99 I think, based on design and size. That is where we are getting ours. We are doing the lanterns for centerpeices so naturally i think its a great idea. How were you planning on decorating them? Are you using any other decorations or accents around them to spice them up? I’m thinking about small flowers or fake fall leaves (since ours is a september wedding).
