Alright ladies here is the final product after a lot of hard work:
ill post the few pics that i have of the process…
first we found these cd-rw that look like vintage record
then i purchased and stamped the envelopes for them to go in while the FI designed the labels

They are gorgeous! We are having a 50s themed wedding and wanted to have mini records like these as our favors… But couldnt figure out how to personalize the disk. if you dont mind sharing, what program did you use/buy for the center/sticker? =D

my FI used photoshop…he scanned in the labels we bought off label gear, they where already the perfect size for these lp/cds and made is a layer then created his own template for our labels

i’m so glad some one else is into the 50s theme…seems to not be the norm/interest here on wedding bee…have you done any diys for your wedding? i would be interested to see what you are doing?? 🙂

no, we spray painted the backs of them black and attached magnets to them….i wanted them to be useful…
cds just get thrown out since everyone is now all about mp3 now…lol

Did you send these in the black envelopes only or in another more sturdy envelope? I would like to send actual 45 records but I’m worried they might break in the mail if I don’t shell out more money for expensive envelopes.

I was actually dreading finding 45s from the flea market and having to repurpose them as it’s a shame. My FI and I collect a lot of vinyls to listen to.
