what else do you need on a cake?

posted by BecomingMrsWoods 1 year agoI wanted a very specific size trim (I was afraid too thin or too wide would look weird) so I bought exactly what I wanted. I got it on ebay (search: Rhinestone Trim Banding, 4 Line SILVER). Calculate the total length for all layers based on diameters your baker gives you. Add a little bit extra for just in case. I put my extra around my bouquet handle!

Question -- how many people was your cake supposed to feed, how many tiers, how much of the the sparkles did you buy? (I am asking this so I can try to figure out how much I'd need... we didn't have our cake appointment yet) -- thanks for your help!

posted by mauibrideMD 1 year agoMy cake was a 3-tier, round, stacked 6" + 8" + 10" (diameter) and feeds 60 people. I had 40 guests at my destination wedding.
My rhinestone cake band came out to $75 for 2.5 yards (Ebay seller did a custom order). For size/servings/circumference,
