I kept finding plain white, boring old ring bearer pillows and I didn’t like them. I thought of doing a hollowed out book, but others didn’t like that idea. So, I figured, I have a sewing machine, lots of ribbon and buttons laying around. I’ll just make a pillow of my own. So, I got one of those $1.99 fabric pieces from JoAnn’s. I cut out two of the same rectangular shape, sewed them together inside out, then flipped it out, filled it in with poly-fil, and sewed it shut with a hidden stitch. I then went through my buttons and found the perfect black button, which made it even more special because it was a button of my grandma’s. I also cut two strips of ribbon, to tie the rings on, and took the needle straight through the pillow a couple times, sewed on the ribbon and button, and ta da! Here’s the finished product.
And also a picture of it with the ribbons tied in a bow.
