I wanted our special little lady to have a spiffy collar for carrying our rings down the aisle. To make this super easy collar you’ll need:
-ribbon of two varieties: thick for the collar, and thin for holding the rings
-a faux flower of your choice and size
-hot glue gun
-any charms/buttons/pins you may want to use
Start by pulling the flower off of the stem. Keep the petals laying on top of each other with the stem hole open, this will make it easier to thread.
Cut thin ribbon to desired length. Tie a knot in the center, and thread both ends through the stem hole of the flower. Cut thick collar ribbon to desired length. Pull the knotted thin ribbon back through the stem hole slightly, and thread the thicker ribbon through the loop you’ve created. Secure by pulling the thin ribbon back through the hole and knotting on the other side of the flower, and hot gluing both ends.
Attach the charm or button to the center of the flower with hot glue. Now tie on your dog and enjoy. Then work on mending the relationship with your poor tortured puppy dog.
