Ive finished the paper roses for the save the dates.
All i need to do now, it tea dye some book pages of Bram Stockers Dracula novel and cut leaves from them along with green leaves to accent them, then write on them with calligraphy (love calligraphy), I’m going for a written in blood kind of colour and look, I just hope the ink takes well to the paper. Im photo copying the pages on normal A4 which isnt as pouras as the noevl pages.
Any ideas on a cheap porous alternative to plain A4 paper that takes well to ink?
Then once the leaves are written and glued to the roses I will be putting a Large Lace bow on for some texture and a magnet on the back of each so they can easily put the STD in clear view on the fridge to remind them of our wedding date.
Im sending them in plastic shoe boxes, I got 3 packs of 10 boxes at 14 dollars for each, cheapest I could find. I just hope they fill the box well, not sure what i’ll do if they dont.
